Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Training

 

Overview

Our Six Sigma Advanced Green Belt course has been purpose-built to enable delegates to build the competency requirements for accreditation as Lean Six Sigma Green Belts. Greenbelt is the 3rd level of the Lean Six Sigma Belt structure, following on from White & Yellow belt competencies.

This Advanced Green Belt Course is made up of two phases, the first is what we call the foundation or theory module, the introduction to Lean Six Sigma as a Green Belt. The main objective of this 3-day classroom based module is for you to have a sound understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles, tools and techniques and more importantly how they can be applied in the workplace. The theory training is based around a real-life case study, utlilising Statapults that allow the modules to really come to life.

Course Description

For delegates involved in or about to start their own projects, this course covers the structure of Six Sigma Projects using the DMAIC approach (Design, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control). Modular content covered is covered but not limited to as below, however modules are flexible and can be adapted to the needs of the business.

  • Positively Managing & Leading Change
  • Leadership skills including Hoshin Kanri
  • Wastes or ‘losses’ in a process
  • Process Control methods and other improvement techniques
  • FMEA methods
  • DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control)
  • Value Add Analysis: process and workflow mapping and other analytical methods
  • 7 quality tools
  • Problem Solving Methods
  • Customer Value and Critical to Quality analysis
  • Statistical Process Control charts (previously Inferential Statistics.
  • Lean Six Sigma project selection (focus, teams, communication, risk management)
  • Your Project Selection and planning

Following the foundation theory training, all delegates will be assigned an ‘action learning project’. Strategic in value, these projects will be primarily used to embed the learning whilst at the same time delivery tangible value back into the business. These projects will be supported by Hansei Technology through targeted coaching and mentoring to ensure each Greenbelt achieves accreditation.

Once accredited your Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt will become a valuable resource within your business, focusing on key strategic projects as part of your wider improvement strategy. With this focus on the delivery of value added work your business with see huge increases in efficiency, engagement and ultimately profitability.

There are no pre requisites for this training, just an open mind and inner desire to promote and execute positive change.
